Dad's and BaseballWhen my Dad was little, he was a Dodgers fan. Where he lived, that's how it was. You played baseball and you rooted for the Dodgers. When the family moved to Colorado, my Dad became a Rockies fan. He would watch every game or listen to it on the radio. He just loved baseball. He shared with the players the love, the rules, the anger, and the superstition. When I was a teenager, it was unusual not to hear yelling as I fell asleep during baseball season. When the Rox played the Dodgers, he rooted for both teams, getting plenty of attention in the stands. But I was not embarrassed because of him. Angel tears...The angels cry sometimes.Angel tears...
The tears fall from the sky, warm and soft. Brushing against our skin. Yellow flowers open their lips to suck in the sweet nectar of heaven. Paradise is a word, but spring rains are the ocean of mine.
